Hair dryers are a necessary amenity to have and to travel with. But they can be large and bulky which can make packing a transporting difficult. This is why a number of hotels have specialist hotel hair dryers them in their room. But, of all the high-street hotel chains it can be unclear as to whether hair dryers are provided or whether you will have to take your own. So for this post we’ve done this research as to whether any of the main high-street hotel chains have hair dryers in their rooms.
Do Premier Inns have hair dryers in rooms?
Premier Inn do not supply hair dryers as standard, but they are available on request. When you get to reception simply ask for a hair dryer and one should be provided.
Do Travelodge hotels have hair dryers?
Yes, Travelodge can provide hair dryers for their rooms. However, these are provided on a first-come-first-serve basis for standard rooms. So there is a chance that they might not have any available when you check in. However, if you are staying in a SuperRoom™ then they are provided as standard.
Do Holiday Inns have hair dryers?
Yes, according to their website all Holiday Inn rooms come as standard with hair dryers along with a number of other amenities like irons, ironing boards and safes.
Do Ibis Hotels have hair dryers?
This isn’t a simple one. There isn’t clear information on their website with what amenities the rooms come with. From what we can see from reading reviews and travel blogs – the Ibis Budget Hotel rooms do not come with hair dryers, but the Ibis Styles and standard Ibis hotels do. However, this might be on a hotel-by-hotel basis, and we recommend contacting your hotel in advance to double check.
